To setup your email account on your computer you will need some basic pieces of information.
- Your email address, AKA Account ID, Account Name, or User ID
- Your email password
- Server type: you can use either POP, or POP3, or IMAP. (I prefer IMAP)
- Incoming mail server: mail.tfon.com (incoming mail port: 110)
(or mail.xxxxxx.xxx – replace the xxxs with the ending of your email address. i.e. email@tfon.com or askjuan.net etc.) - Outgoing mail server: mail.tfon.com (same as the incoming mail server) port: 587
- if a field says it is optional, IT IS NOT! Complete the field with the information requested.
